The alpaca (Vicugna pacos) is a living animal beacuse it grows and develops,it reproduces and responds to its enviorment.
Growth and Development: Alpacs are 13-17 pounds at birth weigh around 150 pounds when they are full grown. They are 5 feet tall when they are full grown but often look bigger because of there coat. Alpacas live for 15-25 years.`
Reproduction: Male alpacas mate at 1-3 years of age, female mate after they are mature enough wich is usally 12-24 months. The gestation period is around a year and the young stays with thier parentes for 6 months.
Respond to enviorment: Alpacas have padded feet becuse of there living conditions, alpacas also run fast to escape there predetors,and they are can last with not alot of water.

2. Air: alpacas live very high up so the air up there is very very thin it can be hard to breathe at land that high up.

4. Habitat: Alpacas live in high plane they are about 12 000 feet in the air. Wich means there is little food and very thin air human would barely survive up there. Alpacas stay warm up there because of there thick fur.
